Nexio is offering a 12-month learnership opportunity within their IT division, to candidates wishing to further expand their skillset and establish their careers. During the programme, the candidate will be exposed to further development opportunities, workplace experience, as well as gain meaningful mentorship from experts within their Business Unit.

Salary

The candidate will receive a monthly stipend and a monthly data connectivity stipend through the course of the programme.

Duration: 12 months
Stipend: R5 000 per month

The programme is offered to candidates pursuing any of the following fields of study:

  • A+ N+ CCNA – Service Desk
  • Azure Skills
  • Big Data / Data Science / DBA /BI
  • Finance
  • Information Technology
  • Linux / Cloud
  • Network Security
  • Project Management
  • Sales and Marketing
  • Software Development
  • Wireless Network

Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:

  • Must be a South African Citizen
  • Must have completed Grade 12/ Matric
  • Must have a key understanding of Nexio’s company and line of work
  • Must be familiar with the Information Technology (IT) industry
  • Must be unemployed
  • Must be between the ages of 18 and 34 years old
  • Must be able to commit to the full duration of the programme
  • Must NOT have a criminal record
  • Must reside within Johannesburg, Cape Town, or Pretoria
  • Must have excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Must be able to work well in a team
  • Must be eager to learn independently
  • Must be highly accurate and detail-oriented
  • Must grasp new ideas easily
  • Must be punctual
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet all deadlines
  • Must be willing to assist with any tasks given to the team
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills
  • Must have a positive attitude
  • Must be highly motivated
  • Must have excellent time management skills
