Learner Artisan Minimum Requirements

Applicants must be South African citizens and meet one of the advertised qualification routes.

Accepted qualifications include a National N6 Certificate with relevant Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics trade subjects, or an N4/N5 Certificate with trade subjects.

Applicants may also qualify with:

Grade 12: Mathematics 50%, Physical Science 50% and English 40%

or

N3: Mathematics 50%, Engineering Science 50% and English 40%

or

NCV Level 4: Mathematics 50%, Science 50% and English 40%.

Successful candidates will receive institutionalised and on-the-job training.

The Learner Plant Operator programme provides institutionalised and practical on-the-job training within Eskom’s operational environment.

Learner Plant Operator Minimum Requirements

Applicants must be South African citizens and may qualify through one of several academic routes.

Eligible qualifications include:

Grade 12: Mathematics 50%, Physical Science 50% and English 40%

N3: Mathematics 50%, Science 50% and English 40%

NCV Level 4: Mathematics 50%, Science 50% and English 40%

The advert also accepts applicants with a National N4/N5 Certificate with Trade Subjects, National N6 Certificate with Trade Subjects, National Diploma, BTech, BEng or BSc Engineering qualification.
